Saint Bernard Catholic School exists to serve the academic, spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of your child from pre-school to 8th Grade and is fully-accredited by the State of Indiana and Cognia. Saint Bernard Catholic School offers a balanced academic curriculum and provides a variety of learning experiences in literature, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, health, technology, music, physical education, and visual arts. To meet the needs of all learners, teachers use a variety of differentiated instructional strategies. 

Students feel empowered to take ownership for their learning and behavior.  All students are expected to be polite and well-mannered while always showing respect for themselves and others.

Saint Bernard Catholic School strives to instill a strong work ethic in its students. We expect students to actively participate in their education. This includes seeking help from teachers or administration when needed, responsibly and respectfully collaborating with peers, and always working to their utmost potential.

Saint Bernard Catholic School consistently achieves above state averages as a school on standardized testing, including IREAD-3 and ILEARN.

A = 93% – 100%

B = 85% – 92%

C = 78% – 84%

D = 70% – 77%

F =  0% – 69%
